DESCRIPTION:Take your FDA-cleared device to the global market \nThe California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) is launching the California Medical Device Export Accelerator\, a new program designed to help California medical device manufacturers expand into high-potential international markets. \nBuilding on the state’s leadership in medtech innovation\, the Accelerator connects companies with market research\, hands-on training\, and individualized coaching to move confidently from FDA clearance to international commercialization. \nWho it’s for \nThe Accelerator is built for California medical device companies that have received applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance\, approval\, authorization\, or exemption and are ready to explore international sales. \nThe program is especially well suited for small and growing medical device manufacturers that want to: \n\nIdentify which international markets offer the strongest fit for their specific device category\nUnderstand the regulatory pathways and timelines shaped by their FDA status\nBuild a practical\, actionable plan for entering a new market\nConnect with vetted in-market partners\n\nWhat’s included \nMarket intelligence. A rigorous\, independently researched report will identify the international markets offering the strongest combination of commercial opportunity\, regulatory feasibility\, and market-entry potential for California medical device companies\, broken out by device category. \nExport readiness training.
