Australia must enhance their Navy’s lethality – including through its surface fleet and conventionally-armed\, nuclear-powered submarines – underpinned by a continuous naval shipbuilding program. \n  \nWith this directive\, Australia will continue to be in the Maritime/Defense spotlight for the foreseeable future as AUKUS continues to play a major role as explained in the SDR including the expansion of maritime and defense opportunities for US companies seeking sales and partnerships in Australia.
